I saw this on Pinterest today. It was as if the person who posted it knew exactly what I needed to hear.
Lately I’ve been dwelling on that fact that things I have earnestly been asking God for have not been given to me. I’m confused. I’m frustrated. I’m impatient.
But God has generously given me so much already. Why can’t I focus on that and be thankful? God isn’t necessarily telling me no. He is saying, “wait my dear child. Learn patience. Trust me. Wait for my timing, for it is perfect. I will be faithful.”
May we be mindful of all that God has lavished on us and be encouraged by His love and faithfulness.

Oh, what it would be like to laugh at future days. To be so confident in the plan that God has for me that I don’t need to worry about what I will do tomorrow or the next day, or the next.
Lord, take away my anxiety and doubt and replace it with faith. I trust in your timing.
